The road to Home

On the morning of Monday, September 29, 2014, we said goodbye to our friends and got to the central bus station of Boston by subway.
We went to New York City by bus company "MegaBus".
We flew home the evening of the same day from New York.

This is the smallest and not very interesting part of our journey in USA.
But even the end of the trip must remain in our memory.

The bus started moving, we looked to the streets of Boston...
Yes, we really liked the idea of "Freedom Trail", which helps tourists find interesting places in an unfamiliar city.

Why is this idea not realized in the cities of many countries?
For example: "Culture Trail" or "Memory Trail".
Because the name is not important.
The main thing - to visitors to the city were interesting.

The bus drove on the highway and we plunged in thought...
The seats were comfortable and the 4.5 hour of the journey passed very quickly.
A bus service developed not bad between the cities in North America.
Buses run regularly and on a schedule.
There are two large companies - Greyhound and Megabus.

Several years ago, I used a bus "Greyhound" from New York to Toronto and back.
The trip was excellent.
Therefore, we decided to go from Boston to New York City by bus.
We chose a bus of the company "MegaBus", because there were big discounts on the price of tickets.
The price was ... $ 1.5 per ticket!
And we got a $ 1 discount since we booked two tickets.
And we paid $ 2 for the road from Boston to New York in a comfortable bus.

Well, I am a pedant in a life, so says my wife.
I like when everything is right and everything is well organized.
Therefore we enjoyed a vacation in the United States.
There were no surprises in the three weeks, what we expected - we got it.
We've been there - where we wanted and we saw everything planned.

We saw a lot of beauty, but we immediately understood - it is only a small part of what can be seen in the United States.
Tourists - the Americans have told us about interesting places that we must to see.

A large number of national parks, the different climatic zones, mountains, deserts and oceans attracted travelers from all over the world to the United States.
Similar routes by the roads of the western United States repeated hundreds of travelers because it are major tourist roads.
Many people come every year, finding more interesting places.

The roads of the wild west, plains, deserts and mountains conquered us.
You will not see such a diversity on the east coast and we were glad we chose the right route...

My wife interrupted my memories:
"The vacation ended so quickly...I do not want to go home...".
Yes, we have already decided in our hearts:
we will definitely go back, we do not know when - but we'll go back again.
It will be a new trip, a new route...

The bus arrived to New York City...

A few hours later, our plane took off and gained altitude...
Goodbye, New York; meet again, America.
